COE HILL — A Community Skating Party is planned Sunday Feb. 19, 2012, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Wollaston Recreation Pavilion Ice Rink. Warm up after skating with coffee and hot chocolate or roast marshmallows and hotdogs around the bonfire!
COE HILL – Calling all local students, age four to 13! The Wollaston-Limerick Library needs your help to find a mascot. Draw, paint or cut and paste a picture of what you the mascot should be. Then bring your creation to the library for a chance to win prizes! Three finalists chosen Feb. 17. The library book club has a new selection, “Sisters of the Wilderness.” It will be in the library soon for members to pick up. Next meeting is February 16th,6 p.m. at the Library.

The Legion has now secured four volunteer teachers, Ruth Burkitt to teach machine quilting, Cathy Trotter and Bev Meyers to teach folk art painting and Sheila Leuschener to teach watercolour. COE HILL – Santa Claus is coming to town Dec. 17, 2011. The annual Coe Hill Santa Claus Parade is set to start at 12:30 p.m. and head through town. Organizer Rhonda Packard says anyone who wants to be part of the parade can check in at the Wollaston Township office for information or call 613-337-5731. Or just show up and join in the parade just before it starts.
COE HILL – The Bickles have cooked up $6,504 in cash for the Coe Hill legion – with more meals to come So far this year, Sheila, along with Jack and Nicole Bickle have served up the food in the legion hall. “Shiela is the main organizer and driving force behind the dinner events that are put on by the legion each month,” said Robert Woodley, who helps out at the dinners.
