Submitted by Robert Woodley COE HILL — Following a summer of delays, disappointments and lift equipment malfunctions the new lift at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 581 in Coe Hill has finally passed various tests and inspections was deemed ready for use. At the regular legion monthly meal on Sun., Jan 29th the lift was put into service for the first time. BANCROFT – A memorial “celebration of life” service is planned Mon., Jan. 23, 2012 for the former owner of Ashlie’s Books in Bancroft Brian Cofell, who lived at Limerick Lake, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2012.
