Ontario Provincial Police press release NORTH KAWARTHA Twp. – On Thursday February 9, 2012 at approximately 2:17 P.M. officers from the Peterborough County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped and investigated a driving complaint involving the driver of a white Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) Chevrolet Silverado on McFadden Road in the Village of Apsley. As a result of the investigation, a 42-year-old Apsley man has been charged for Impaired Driving and Driving with a Blood/Alcohol Level Exceeding the Legal Limit. COE HILL – About 5,000 people were without power in the Coe Hill, Bancroft and Denbigh areas Oct. 20, 2011. The Hydro One storm centre web page shows power outages across eastern Ontario, but the biggest appear to be in the northern Hastings County. As of 8:45 a.m., power is expected to be back on in Coe Hill and Bancroft by 9 a.m., and by 9:45 a.m. in Denbigh. No cause for the power outage was given.
